This is an oil painting of Meera's kitchen windowsill.  The vintage blue bottles are the main subject. All the subjects are challenging with their translucency, transparency and reflections, such as the curtain, window,  glass bottles and even the tiles. Blues stand out when the orange oil bottle is placed inbetween.

This is small but beautiful painting. Meera really enjoyed painting this little robin who is a regular visitor to her garden. They start to visit from October onwards through the winter months.  Painted using thick paint to give it texture and feel. 

A cute little water mister for plants.  As a keen gardener it's no wonder Meera chose to paint this.  Painted realistically with high contrast and details she has tried to highlight the metal parts  and the shapes and curves of the green glass.  The reflection also plays an important part in this little painting..

This is a beautiful place called Kothagiri in South India surrounded by natural beauty. Meera loves mountains and hills.  She painted this with blocks of thick paint.  An uphill earthy road is leading somewhere. The right hand bush is stopping your eyes and leading it back to the trees.

This is another painting from the Jars series. One of Meera's favourite paintings and a popular one too... she tried to capture the three dimensions of the bottles.  The placement of each object is well balanced to maintain the interest and flow through the painting.

This painting iss from Meera's Jars series. Meera has tried to show the transparency of the marmalade jar.  She does a lot of home preserving and used to be obsessed with it at one point. The mug is so close to you and the parasol will  give an idea of distance.

This is watercolour painting of one of Meera's plants in a yellow pot with white polka dots. Very vibrant and colourful with lots of details.  Meera lifts the paint after painting to create some interesting effects.

Meera painted horse chestnuts, berries and rosehips in oil. The darkness of the background and richness of the colour adds charm to this painting.
